This poor blog has been so neglected in the last while. In the last month we have moved and are in the process of building a new house! All of that has sort of taken priority over photography, but now I want to get back at it. I actually did take some picyures of my friends 2 year old. Wow, was that a challenge. A real cutie, but constantly on the move! These are a few of his pics!

New Lense!

So, I've been waiting all week for a package to come in the mail... and it finally came yesterday!! My new lense- a 50mm f1.8! I am having so much fun playing with it and learning what it does! My 2 little boys don't seem to sure about me following them around , constantly snapping pictures. Kaiden makes funny faces, and Jack just frowns.
Tomorrow, we are leaving for a short vacation and I am so excited. We plan to camp Fri-Mon, and spend at least, Sat and Sun in Chicago. We are going to the Green Festival and then , hopefully, to the zoo. My husband isn't so fond of zoos, but I figure he'll eventually have to give, since the boys love them! Planning to have some really great photo opportunities while I'm gone and, hopefully, some great photos when I get back! Have a wonderful weekend!

Jordana Love

This little doll is Jordana Love. She is my friend's daughter and I was given the honor of taking her 6 month photos. She was very smiley, happy, and easy to photograph. The background was a little darker than I had anticipated, so I had to do alot of work with that. This photo was one of my favorites.

This is the first blog I have ever done, so I am starting on a new adventure! Today I have plenty of down time to sit and work on my computer, as I had my appendix removed on Fri afternoon. My mom has my 2 boys till Levi gets home from work so I can just relax. I really miss the boys, but I know if they were here, I would over work myself! Now to start playing with PSE!!
